The Morgan 4/4 Sport
The Morgan Motor Company launched this "no frills Morgan" at Geneva two years ago.
To save weight, costs and complexity there are neither over-riders nor bumpers on the 4/4 sport, no sidelights, no door handles nor a spare wheel & tyre. With the new, lighter, 1.6 litre Ford Sigma engine the 4/4 weighs less than ever before giving a power to weight ratio worthy of its "sporty" title.
Black painted wire wheels are standard together with the saddle brown leather interior and the old style hood with studded windscreen have returned. The only option is colour (body and dashboard), namely black, grey, le mans green, dark blue, red and ivory.
"On the road" price is from £29150 (right hand drive only).
We had hoped that the 4/4 sport was to be available in addition to the 4/4 but latest information from Malvern suggests that this is now the ONLY 4/4 available. If you would like an individually specified Morgan with the benefit of the full option list then we will need to guide you into the Plus 4 and the V6 Roadster (either 2 or 4 seater) Morgans.
