Bought by Brett Syndercombe as a standard and slightly tired 3.5 injection Plus 8, it has slowly evolved into a class B spec roadgoing race car.
First used as trackday car, the glamour and fame surrounding the race series proved too much to resist, so with the addition of a few safety items and a race licence it was entered into the Morgan Challenge.
Since then, a 3.9 engine and some uprated front and rear brakes have been fitted along with some sparkly 16" wheel rims, though it still retains its heater for those cold, early morning qualifying sessions.
Like the driver, it cannot be described as "state of the art", but fast enough on a good day to worry some of the other class B backmarkers!
